Bethel Historical Society is an independent non-profit organization that seeks to foster a sense
of place and create an understanding for the region’s cultural history. The
society provides community members with “a doorway to the past” through its
interactive historical village and its Regional History Center. The website has information on the Society’s research library, which houses information on the Androscoggin River. The site also contains an online exhibit entitled “A River’s Journey: The Story of the Androscoggin,” which outlines the river’s history. |
