Natural Resources Council of Maine

Natural Resources Council of Maine is a non-profit organization that works to restore, protect and conserve Maine’s natural environment.  They have over 12,000 supporters nationwide, who work together to use science and policy to protect Maine’s natural resources.  One of their focuses includes improving the water quality of Maine’s rivers and reducing the amount of toxic chemicals released into the rivers.  Using the site’s search tool will reveal general information and news on the Androscoggin River.
