Maine Environmental Policy Institute (MEPI) is an independent non-profit organization that seeks to help the
people of Maine “understand the importance of healthy ecosystems to their
families and communities.” They do this by researching environmental
challenges in the state and reporting their research to the public and to
policy makers. MEPI’s website has a list of all the Maine environmental
organizations as well an environmental news archive with articles from local
Maine newspapers over the past two years.
